Dr. Karl Berge-Venter is a General Practitioner (GP) with over 20 years of experience in the healthcare field. He has practiced in South Africa, England, and Norway before settling in Australia in 2014. Dr. Berge-Venter has a strong interest in family health and preventive health care, and he enjoys spending time outdoors and engaging in sports. 

Dr Heleen Bontje is a dedicated General Practitioner with 16 years experience across both hospital and general practice settings.

Dr Bontje completed her medical degree in the Netherlands in 2010 and has since worked in hospitals and general practices in the Netherlands, Victoria and on the Sunshine Coast. She is committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care and is known for her thorough, patient-centred approach. She welcomes patients of all backgrounds.

Outside of work, Heleen enjoys bushwalking and spending quality time with her two children.

Dr John Warren works with Pomona Medical Clinic as a locum General Practitioner, providing clinical support during periods when our regular doctors are on leave or when additional medical coverage is required. His extensive experience and broad procedural skills help ensure continuity of care for our patients while supporting the ongoing healthcare needs of our practice and the wider community.
